Now now..... Let's not be too hasty in condemning things

How about some house pics instead of toothpaste dick talk?
The new laundry room! Just installed the utility tub last night. Needed some functional cabinet space desparately, so we went with this kind of cool set up. Stainless steel and brushed nickel.

The stupid thing? That plug location. Need to make that a gcfi and honestly might drill a hole through the base of the cabinet to get the washer cord over to the lower plug where the dryer is plugged in. Not sure if having both plugged into the same outlet is a good idea or not.

This room had the floor torn out as well, and retiled. Pretty happy with the floor will take a better picture when I finish grouting the right side of the room
I'm assuming it's a gas dryer if it's 120v. In that case it should be fine to have them on the same circuit. But check the manual and see if either require a dedicated circuit.

Looks like the same tile I have in my bathrooms.

It is gas, I don't think it needs a dedicated circuit, it is does, it isn't getting one.

The washer and dryer are on the same circuit as the whole laundry room is on the same, I am wo seeing more about the recepticle itself

It is tile from lowes, it is really good looking though. I like the 12x24 size

What are the best dimmers for function and value? I don't need remote control or timers. I'm looking for entry, open floor plan dinning, living, kitchen and then our media room. A few pre-set options would be ideal, I think. I've never had anything besides the very basic dimmer, so any feedback and suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

I use two different ones. The Lutron maestro. I really like it because you can double tap to go full brightness or single to either the last setting or a preset.

I also have some basic eaton ones because the maestro didn't work with some of the LED tape lights.

in the yard today. flipping a 7' wide swath of cashed out lawn into rows of berry shrubs.

i thought it would be more arduous work but turned out to be pretty gracious.

Today’s fun discovery: the faucet hole in the countertop is not centered on the faucet hole on the sink, so the washer and gasket won’t sit flush with the countertop.

Cut a pice of wood or plastic the thickness of the sink top with a hole saw the size of the sink hole, then drill a hole in that to match the countertop hole

I understand the words but can't remotely visualize the process.

I’m too lazy for that. I attached some magnets to the washer to shim it.

Now I understand why they tell you to install the faucet before you install the sink. I'm sure it would be easier with better tools. The screws still aren't totally tight. I need to get a ratchet extension or a flex bit extension.
