I feel like a workstation sink does everything people use a double bowl for, but it's more flexible.

So I don't have a dishwasher and I find a double sink invaluable for that task, soak in one side and rinse and stack in the other. What do you need a 36" sink for, skinning rabbits or plucking ducks?

I bought a new faucet a while back and it is too tall for the size of my sink.

If you aren't careful, it is really easy to splatter a bunch of water outside of the sink. Wish I had chosen the almost identical model that was a few inches shorter.

I really need a new faucet. I'm not sure how to install it myself, but I bet there's somebody who will charge me $500 to do it for me.

The wife's been making noises about visiting New York. Get the one you want and I'll stop by and do it for $450. You got a pair of pliers I can use or do I gotta bring my own?

Installing a faucet is like the easiest plumbing task. It only sucks if it is in a confined space you can't get your hand/wrench in.

Dishwashers are significantly more efficient than hand washing.

So you're not even saving the environment by not using the big machine.

american use an absurd amount of water, I wonder if it's still true if hand wash not the american way...

shut the water valve, then google some on youtube, spend <$200 at homedepot, done

We use a dishwasher for the most part. From what I read when we bought it a few years ago and a quick read of a few sites just now, it seems that dishwashers are more energy efficient if:
1) they're full or close to it,
2) they were built before 2013 (when the US made 5 gallons the max usage per load), and
3) you don't use the heat dry feature.
