This morning I used a chainsaw, rattail and bastard file, cant hook with timberjack, rope, pick axe and spade.

This afternoon I used a corkscrew and cigar cutter.

In an average day at my job I would use a scarfing ring, a stricker, a couple roller jacks, a wrap around and some soap stone. I would make a land, a tack up and run a root stringer.

There are few jobs so urgent that it's not worth waiting to get the right tool. Especially the expensive version of that tool.

I'm replacing all the outlets and switches in the downstairs of my house - in the downstairs kitchen the previous owner ran some new wiring, which is nice, but he left like 1" of wire out of each of the boxes. If I ever run into this motherfucker, we're fighting on sight. Very little is as frustrating to me as trying to wire something with not enough slack to manipulate anything.

Get some of them little push-in wire nut replacement things.
