There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Ah. I know zero about exterior painting. No dog in the fight.

It depends. I was talking about my house specifically that I just sold. I spent $8 on paint to sell my house (got a gallon of oops paint at HD) and about a day of painting and another day touching up various spots throughout the house. I probably increased the value of my house by more than $8 by doing so, but if I had paid someone $500-$1000 for a couple days of labor I doubt it would have had a positive ROI.

If there's one thing we can agree on - its that while 30k is too much for house paint, a creamy hand-sewn buttonhole is priceless.

You should probably just rent a studio apartment.

    Fuck.

It is a single house with three full 2000 sq ft apts each with 11' ceilings, a basement garage and whatever extra crazy shit they put on top of these houses in SF. It is loaded with intricate moulding including some weird saucer thing that makes it unique as SF Victorians go. Sides and back are a single colour.

It was a complicated paint job made more so by that fact the owners are designers.

Value added? As people stop and take pictures of the place and it's probably worth just under 10 in today's market, I would say that a 30K paint job is perfectly in line, though they bitched at the price.

    If only Hitler was available.

Fuck. My spa LED won't turn on and apparently I can't get both the spill way and the sheer descents to work at the same time.

How much do you guys think it would cost to put on about 200 sq on a home?

Going to depend on many things, like where you are, type of construction, level of finish (to include exterior cladding) etc. but I'd figure anywhere from $150-300 a square foot.

Need much more detail than that.

Purpose of room? What needs relocation? What floor? Demolition required? Finishes outside and inside? Windows?

Both below answers are right. It depends on function, and primarily on the quality of finishes. You can add 200 sq ft to a kitchen that winds up costing you $400 sq ft, or it could be a storage room that's $100/ sq ft.

This is one of the main reasons why our new place has engineered wood siding. Uses leftover material from the timber industry and the finish is guaranteed for 25 years... we're very glad we went this route.

FTFY. Also, spa LED now working and landscape lights can be turned on/off directly through my phone app too or scheduled. Seems like they did more programming today. :slayer:
