1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

He kept saying it will crack it will crack. Because of the sink hole that compromises integrity of the solid piece. He kept saying it is too long and it will crack. Curiously he gave me an invoice for two piece counter based on the kitchen blueprint with these exact measurements. 8' x 8'

P.S. I could swear I saw 8 feet slabs of marble installed on "This Old House".

Pio is on the money, I'm sure he is worried about the cost of a replacement slab.

Have any of you had experience with concrete tiles? I'm still just planning our attic master but the wife is pretty attached to the look of this floor

Studio monitors are supposed to be "flat" but I've heard those are sort of like Bose, i.e. warmed the mids and pumped the bass. This means they'll probably be good for HT.

Had a pool company come out a couple of weeks ago to check out our lot under construction. They sent over some models today and want to sit down to talk pricing. That can't be a good sign.

Looking for a recommendation for a good microphone and boom. Wall or ceiling mount, need to put one in my workshop so I can start teaching online classes on woodworking.

Have you considered a wireless lavalier mic?

I'm concerned that a mic that attaches to my collar won't stay attached for long.

Is there an untapped market for shirtless woodworking videos?

    :smarmy:

Possibly I'm over thinking this and the one that goes on my collar will work fine.

Get the lav. You will probably be moving all over the place and the sound will suck with a locked off boom.
