I was going to order new furniture since ours is a little old and doesn't fit in the new house but decided to push it off because of my kids. Last weekend the couch saw a huge wine spill, chocolate rubbed into the cushions, and a bathroom accident from one of the kiddos. I'd rather not flush cash down the drain for a few more years at least.

Your kids are drinking wine?

Sure.

Here goes, a few pics of rooms we like:
For what its worth, we're in the market for (not all at once); nightstands, low wide dresser for wife, small narrow, high dresser for me, bench for foot of bed, all things living room (new sofa, loveseat, lounge chair, ottoman)

We like the look of this bedroom set.

We already purchased the above bedframe

Like the look of the sofa and sidebaord above, lounge chair a little too modern, but OK

Like color palette here, sofa not perfect.....

Thinking possibly this from Joybird:

Again, any recommendations for good price to value furniture shopping.....

We have had great success with BluDot. Check them out online. We have a local retailer that carries the brand, receives it and delivers it. Perhaps there is a retailer near you? The pricing is the same as online and it is nice to have a local contact.

We have bought a couple of desks, a credenza and chairs. We have seen the sofas and beds which I like. They have a simple modern style and they are well built.

front yard update:

20 ferns (!) are in ,

2 yards of loam/compost mix , along with over seed dressed over lawn ,

a tiny corner of front yard remains , probably will use a creeping manzanita or some such

otherwise, done !

Trying to figure out how to get a full bath w/ separate tub in like 60-70 sqft. Feels like the only way is going with a Euro style wet room.

I was holding a glass and my youngest was sitting on the floor in front of me. He decided to chuck a dog toy back over his head which hit my wine glass and went everywhere. Luckily the glass didn't break.

You simply explain to your child this is not appropriate behaviour as we have the furniture to think of. You're welcome.

Here's another Opendoor winner. What a horrifically evil business.

Why is it so bad if they are just burning VC cash screwing themselves over?
