OK guys. I have a massive denim collection. Frighteningly big. I need to weed it down. I'm looking at having three "ultimate" pairs in my wardrobe. I'm waiting on my credit card so I can get some PB AI-001's off of coldrice. They look like a beautiful pair of jeans. They're a piece of clothing you can look at in a picture and obsess with, even though you've never touched a pair, much less tried them on. The fit also seems perfect for me and the denim is wild. Hopefully things will work out so I can also get a pair of Jomon's. These are my favorite pair of jeans that I've ever tried on. The cut somehow compliments my frame despite the thin cut of the jean. I love them and I figure this fills in under the premier jean moniker on the other end of the spectrum. Can't really do better on either end, really. In my mind. Now I need a third pair. Not an alternative, just something more to fill the gap. Plus, I don't think I could live with just two pairs of jeans, no matter how nice they are. It doesn't have to be Japanese, but with coldrice's situation I thought now would be a good time to ask. I've actually been eyeing Kicking Mule's for a long, long time, but I'm afraid they'll be kind of moot once I get my PBJ's. Any help? I don't know a lot about Studio D'Artisan, do they have anything that fits my bill. Again, I'm looking for something comparable to the other pairs in quality while having its own unique identity. Thanks guys.
