The History or Truth behind the models

Hi SF, I wanted to personally thank so many of you for helping me learn a world of truth behind so many brands. I thanked several of you individually but I also wanted to take some time to thank all of you for your threads.
I've been trying to learn about the meaning behind the Isaia models, and was wondering if before there was the Base S or Base V, were the models originally named after old Hollywood actors?
