Well what I may do is just test the Oct.Tenth trees in other pairs of shoes to determine if that works. I say that because pretty much all the trees I thought needed replacing already have hinged lasted trees ?.

The Oct.Tenth Huang and Pu should cover my rounds and squares. Plus I know that the instep is high enough on that lasted tree for it to work.
That said, does the maker have the Pu and Huang in a 8.5UK?
I'll check with him if he is able to make trees for Pu and Huang. However, didn't Oct. Tenth already come with hinged shoe trees?

They do. However, the trees would not be for the Oct.Tenth shoes ?. If I recall correctly, they still would be more expensive than $60 bucks.

Actually I wouldnt mind a pair of trees for my Indy boots. First pair of high end boots I ever bought were Alden Indys
Although I don't wear them often, a pair of trees would be my way to honor them for their service.

Hopefully @ijustknow provides further input regarding what's available. Curious if they offer hinged trees as well. I didnt see it on their page.
Incidentally, am I going to have to use one of you boys to translate?
It is in Chinese, but you can find what they can do.

I talked with the owner, she said someone told her maybe there is some legal issue if she lists all the Lasts from all the brands she had reverse engineered.

Hinged tress is available, hollow tree is available, boot tree is available.

This is the only high end shoe tree maker in South China at the moment. I remember they have RTW trees available for popular G&G models, but not sure about other makers and models.
The database is ever increasing with so many shoe aficionado send their shoes to this maker to reverse engineering.

I bet for mainstream brands, you can get any size, any last now. No hassle, I mean, no more sending shoes to them.

That would be awesome but yea I can see IP issue though if it’s more design to fit shoe X probably less of an issue...

@BColl_Has_Too_Many_Shoes @clee1982, should we make a spread sheet with the brand, style, last, size for the trees you want to make? Then I can send it to the maker to check which have already been made before? I'll also check if you can send existing trees to them for duplication if Huang and Pu in UK 8.5 have not been made by her before.
