Goodness me.. Did I not say an Amazon product waiting to take off!
In the reviews section, I'll copy paste @Jmr928 little review.
Like I say - I’m very curious to see how they work and breaking them in. I’m also looking forward to my wife asking me WTF I’m doing and why I’m wandering around the house in work from home attire in new shoes while I break them and the tongue pads in and telling me the new shoes look the same as my old shoes.

Guys who have both Oct. Tenth and Y - What are your takes on the differences? Oct. Tenth has a full sock liner, right? Both can do last modification for up-charge. Oct. Tenth can do the disposable fitting shoe.
Fit, finish, details all similar? I’d like to support Tom and working with him on SoH stuff has been a breeze but I figured out a size that works at Y and they’ve been good as well.

@boot_owl was nice enough to send a pair of the tongue pads to me a while ago. They're definitely quite nice and real leather. I have to admit I haven't had a chance to really break them in since I have a lot of shoes and I don't always grab the pair i'm trying the tongue pads on. The few times I did try them did leave the top of my foot a bit sore since it's full grain leather, but I expect it to go away as the leather molds to my feet. Definitely worth a try

thanks for the feedback - id recommend lacing loosely until they break in. As it is completely natural, unfinished veg tan, wetting it will also make it much more malleable until it dries (and it will take the shape it was held in - a process called wet moulding, often used to make handgun holsters)

I only have OT via SoH, I would say stick to the one that already fit, why gamble, now if one has a model you want but the other doesn't then different story...
