Simple question - those of us who are forced to rock suit and tie to work every day. Assuming our gym is not in our building nor exactly next to it - how do you work out during the week?

Do I get used to taking showers after an early morning workout and change back into the suit I went to the gym in? (carry the bag of shoes and shorts etc to work)

Do I hit the gym after work and then carry my suit/shoes home on a hanger/in a bag?

    I just have no clue.

    All input is appreciated.

    Cheers!

My gym is close to my house, so if it's in the morning I go to the gym and then go back home. There have been times in the evening that I'll go straight to the gym after work. In this case I'll go in my suit, but not change back into it. I've never gone to work directly from the gym.

I rent a locker at my club, so I'm able to keep all my gym stuff there. They are roomy enough to hit any work clothing in there.

I go after work and hang it all in a locker, then carry it home wearing my gym clothes.

I used to have a job where I could disappear at around noon before the lunchtime rush and do it all then. Was very awesome.

    Go to gym after work.

Shower when you have finished your workout.

Put work clothes back on, carry dirty gym clothes in sports bag.

Not sure what the problem is here.

I work out after work. My gym has locations near my office on my way to train and another directly outside the train stop near my apartment. I usually go to the latter. Toss my clothes in locker (hanging jacket in coat rack), stuff socks in shoes. Shower after work out and dress up again for trip home.

I always workout after work. I tried to workout before work but just couldn't get into it. My biggest problem was I couldn't cool my body down after working out and showering so I would still be sweating after changing into my work clothes. I didn't like that nasty dried sweat feeling on me all day so I stopped working out before work.

This is why I don't workout and then go directly to work - I can't cool down quickly enough even after showering.
