    Saw the Disaster Artist last weekend. Really enjoyed it. Franco managed to create quite an emotional story from such an oddball subject.

    Also, Dries S/S 2003. The Room released June 2003. Coincidence?

    Great weird litte film. The plot is straightforward film noir fare and the acting is uneven but... the filming on the fly in 1960's NYC around christmas time and an overbearing, misanthropic voiceover give the whole thing an unusual and brooding atmospheric vibe.

    Also an avowed inspiration for Taxi Driver (and possibly Le Samouraï, though that's pure conjecture).
