Mark Wahlberg, Will Smith Offered $1 Million for Celebrity Boxing Match

Mark Wahlberg and Will Smith have portrayed real-life boxers in blockbuster bio-pics -- Wahlberg playing Mickey Ward in new film "The Fighter," and Smith playing Muhammad Ali in 2001's "Ali." Now, they may get to try on their boxing chops for real -- on each other.

Damon Feldman, CEO of Hollywood Boxing Federation, is offering each fighter $1 million to fight in a Feb. 26 fight in Las Vegas.

"This will be a great opportunity for both stars to fight in the Super Bowl of Hollywood boxing and to donate millions to their favorite charities. It would be a great event too. Can you imagine?"

According to Feldman, the idea is for the two to fight three one-minute rounds. A location for the proposed fight hasn't been determined.

"We don't think these two are going to rip each others heads off," Feldman said. "We're just hoping they get into the ring and have a little fun duking it out."
Wahlberg is 5 ft 7
Smith is 6 ft 3

Great movie. Christian Bale was so convincing as a crack head that I didn't recognize him until half way through the movie. He was amazing. MW was good too.

its even more moving when you have followed his career (Mickey Ward) ,the guy genuinely is a classy human being.
can a bio pic about Arturo Gatti be far behind....James Franco would be perfect

Do you think they would include the Floyd Mayweather part? It doesn't make Gatti look good at all, but Mayweather's name alone brings in the controversy to sell.

Good thing he did the Ward trilogy before trying Floyd. That fight should have never happened. I don't even watch it due to how one sided it is.

lol,you really are a Flomo (sorry couldnt resist) my fave part of that fight with Floyd was when mcGirt actually told gatti to box him...."Hey Arturo, you are a natural born street fighter...now go and box the best boxer in the world,a guy so slick his socks dont stay on"shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit, arturo should have made it a street fight, still would have lost but damn McGirt is one dumb ****
