I started buying these shirts last year:
Note: I have a slim cut, tapered athletic build. 41 chest, 32 waist.

Facconable: Decent fabrics, textures, patterns. Terrible HUGE baggy cut.
Behar: Great fabrics, textures, patterns. Average cut. Varies.
Ben Sherman: **** fabric, good patterns. SLIM cut. Short torso ends at waist. PERFECT for me

I like the fabric/design/textures of Ike Behar,
but with the slim/short cut of Ben Sherman !!

With that, can anyone recc. other brands I can delve into?

Thrift stores you get what is there.
What would your price point be?
The answer is....yes there is much better.
It completely depends on what you are willing to pay and how patient you are.

Remember, spend the most on basics, like white and blue.

It's a simple $10-15 alteration to get a shirt taken in. Just ask your tailor to give the shirt some waist suppression. You can find Ike Behar shirts on discount for ~$40 or so anyways, so the total cost of $50-55 is not bad at all.

Price point is moot.
Let's see some brands/examples comparable to the above brands !!!

I also have ONE Robert Graham shirt.
Paisley. A little less conservative..kinda pushing it
