There are now like 5 seasons of this. Download it, it's great. He shows you how to make everything that he does in the restaurant. It isn't always michelin stuff, but it's a great show with a lot less bullshit and fakeness than his shows in the US. I am enjoying watching this and the cooking demos he does are nice.

This is a really great show. Another good one from him is "Fast Food w/ Gordon Ramsay." You can find these on youtube.

I really like Kitchen Nightmares on BBC. They were good, showing how he changed a restaurant around, explained what worked and why it did. The American one is just purely a reality show and pales in comparison.

YEs I love his BBC kitchen nightmares too. Haven't seen him do fast food. I really want to see that.

Agree on both counts. I can't watch his US shows. The first episode of the British nightmares I saw (Bonapartes) had one of the enduring scenes for me, were Ramsay nearly vomitted from eating a rancid scallop.

That was the kid who was my age and executive chef. What a freaking nightmare (no pun intended) that episode was. Kid had no training. It almost seemed like that executive chef job was his first job in the industry.

And the nice thing about the BBC version is that sometimes he goes to places where in fact, there is a extremely talented chef. A few nearly michelin level places that just needed some guidance. The last season of the US version was basically truck stops, and when he had a couple marry on the show, I turned it off and haven't watched it again.

Completely agree that the BBC version of Kitchen Nightmares is much better than the US one. The voice-overs and the overabundance of drama on the US show make it practically unwatchable. The BBC version actually showed him connecting with the restaurant owners and staff and making them better.

Haven't watched the F Word or Fast Food but will look to download.

Ah, what the hell...the fun starts ~30 seconds in.

I think F Word is his best show....are they doing new ones? The last season I saw on BBC A was when he raised the pigs.

We always laugh when he has the obligatory scene of him taking off his shirt to put on his chef's shirt on Nightmares...geeze dude...

I love how the kid eats it and then 5 minutes after Ramsay is puking, he's like "Oh man, now I get it. Oh I'm sooo sick now. "

^ wasn't that the same episode where he asked the kid to cook an omelette, and he said he'd never made one before? [IMG]

Fuck, the season I downloaded took out the swearing. They bleep it out with this really annoying sound that I can't stand. I hate it when they bleep.

Wait, it only bleeped it out at the begining. Now my Gordon is swearing up a storm again.

He's such a pimp. He's chatting up this hot black girl while they're both cooking. He got game.

Damn, I love watching this show. My friends will have to drag me out of here tonight. Makes me feel sorry that I'm not in a kitchen anymore.
