I have given up posting photos of my clothing (and shoes) as the line between honest, well-informed critique and rancorous bile has been forever blurred on SF.

Then by all means...post them on the London Lounge

That would only be 50% successful.

Sleeve length and pants break seem like logical places to yield first to a customer who has different preferences than the tailor.

Amen. I, for one, do all my own sleeve alterations and trouser cuffing and find that I am continually required to yield to myself, though it may go against my preferences. It just makes good business sense.

I would expect perfect pitch on a bespoke.

.............as the line between honest, well-informed critique and rancorous bile has been forever blurred on SF.

That is very true and very unfortunate.

Really? I thought that with Bunny tossed out, the main harrumph is that people are too nice and accepting, in turn causing banality and mediocrity to flourish? 99% of forvm misfortune is visited on Foo as far as I can see. He's very decent about it - B

Thanks for the call out Slew. I am the proud wearer of 20, give or take a few, Despos creations with several more being made up.

I have given up posting photos of my clothing (and shoes) as the line between honest, well-informed critique and rancorous bile has been forever blurred on SF. I do, however, think the world of Chris and consider him a friend who also happens to be my tailor.

I am indeed lucky on both accounts.

After having read your post, I must say that your sleeve pitch is off. Oh, and the back is a mess.

    Hope you find this helpful.

And I have the feeling, some of the threads here on SF resemble "Lord of the Flies" island.
