A new pair of chukkas from Cobbler Union arrived. A wonderfull chukka, the second in the same model and same last (first pair in Utah Calf).

Brand: Cobbler Union
Last: 312
Welt: 360
Sole: Dainite
Colour: Tobacco

These chukkas shout out quality in every angle. The suede is very soft, the burgundy linning and the quilted heel cup gives the sensation that you have purchased something special. A round toe to accomodate my bulky feet that put these chukkas on the "almost" casual side. I have applied some Collonil suede waterproff spray to avoid the horrible stains that my sloppy way of eating ensures.

Thank you for posting these pictures and introducing me to the brand. I’m a great fan of chukka boots. This particular model has sold out, but I’ll be keeping an eye out for future releases by CU.
You have a great chukka collection.
Enjoy them in the very best of health.

Hello, thank you for your warm wishes. CU is a magnific brand, their finishing and materials are on-pair with any major brand. CU's dark brown chukka is a success, @Noblekostas made a nice review.

Regards

Can anyone recommend chukkas or desert boots with particularly soft bouncy soles?. I have back pain which confines me to Ecco type horrors and the only vaguely acceptable things I have found are Timberland Naples which are now discontinued.
Grant stones new Chukkas have a nice sole. They are also quite generous in the width and toe box while still looking nice. Can't recommend them highly enough.

Anyone know a decent company for extra wide 3E/4E desert boots? Its easy to get suede chukkas in wide widths from Alden or AE or elsewhere but I'm looking for something more casual/more of a beater and less expensive. Any wide footed people got experience with Clark's sizing?

Thanks!

@Reiver @Señor Blues you might want to know the Sargent shoes are back. >>Here<< is the SF thread. I've been conversing with them profusely recently - they seem very much alive ;)
@Schweino Radwell chukka are THE only chukkas I'd like to have. Never been a chukka guy but this shoe on the last 724 is just a marvel to behold (particularly in hatch). And the same goes - at least for me - for the Alex jodhpur (just a digression from the chukka theme).
