1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

They're made by adidas and puma so go with your size in that (especially if you have sambas). I bought a 280 (which is what size a samba in 10US is). I'll let you know when I get them.

I thought the GATs were just military surplus?

Btw, I saw your sig. If you want, I think I will be making a trip to Uniqlo either next week or the week after that. If they still have vintage chinos, I could proxy you a pair.

Those aren't even close to looking like CP Achilles.

achilles mids, look at my post. In the fact that are simple yes they do. Im basically just look for a simple white leather mid to high cut sneaker.

They remind me more of the 420g shoes: [IMG] EDIT: Duh. they're Grams, too. No wonder. :p I hated the way those fit, though.

Have never been attracted to Grams. They contain too many, "look, they are grams" details.

see baller sneaker thread, you're wearing dior so represent CP courts and Lanvin captoe lows immediately come to mind.

thanks, i was reading that thread as well, but wasnt that one for $300 min?
the dior (also the only one) i got is raw, so i dont mind wearin them hard, but i dont want spend more than 150 on a pair of sneakers because i always get them dirty very quickly. thanks.

I'm kinda confused. I thought Sperrys run large which is why most people size down and you got a 43.5 (which is like a US9.5)? So the GATs run super large?

the seller also included the japanese (?) size which was something like 280, which is the measurement in mm of the insole of the shoe. i actually used that measurement to decide that they would fit.
