    Gents,

bit of a cross post from the "leather artisan" page

Here are a few pics of my latest bag. It is a commission piece. Customer requested a bag that resembled the Louis Vuitton Greenwich Neo.

The bag is made with Horween Natural Chromexcel. Fully hand sewn with beige fil au chinois linen thread (size 432 @ 6spi)

There is a shoulder strap, strap to secure this bag to his rolling luggage, luggage tag, padlock with keys and clochette.

Riri zipper, polished nickle hardware, cream canvas lining.

    Thanks very much.

I am the one who made the bag! (I can see how I was not very clear on my initial post).

My bags typically run between $700 and $1,000 CAD. I use the best products I can get my hands on (Horween leather, RIRI zippers etc)

Feel free to PM me if you have any other questions.

    Thanks very much.

It is robust for sure. It looks larger than it actually is in photographs. It's about 8.5" wide and 17" long but quite tall in proportion, at 12.5"

The bag is very neat in a raw way. Just love it. By chance you make messenger? Could you work with exotic leather?

Wow looks really nice & well-done, do you have a website or something?

That patina is going to age beautifully. And those RiRi zippers are like a hot knife through butter. Looks like a Dr's bag, although they don't use them as much since most don't do house calls anymore lol.

Yes I could make whatever you like.

Working with exotics is no problem but cost will go up significantly.

    Thanks for the kind words.

I don't have a website as of yet as its a hobby of mine. My work is usually through word of mouth, Toronto classifieds or I build something and sell it on Etsy.

Anyone know when Delvaux changed up the Newspaper bag? The new version loses the 1829 stamp at the bottom but gains a zippered external pocket.

Recent project: somewhere between a briefcase and a carry-all. Commissioned by a SF member that was interested in a very similar bag but wanted a few things modified or changed.
