Rach2jlc, I agree. Those are pretty ugly. I did like the red one Varvatos showed and the patterned bag from Dries Van Noten. The backpack Prorsum has is being done by Coach cheaper and Vuitton pricier (and in Ostrich). I'll keep my eye on the Dries one at most.

I don't know what this is like in the rest of the world, but have you seen those rectangular little manbags that Moroccan youth in the Netherlands always wear? Really short handles and still they wear 'em over the shoulder like a messenger bag!

I think the ostrich Vuitton one was $25K or something in that neighborhood.

Fossil is pretty high-quality for the price and ages well. Styling is only okay, but generally inoffensive. My advice to you would be to check out a Fossil outlet if you can; the bags are past-season but virtually identical and half the price.

+1. I've never owned one, but what I've seen has been better styled and done than most other bags at that price point. Anyway, in other news, through some site perusals, most of the major players have updated their online sites with the Spring Accessories and Bags collections. Like Valentino, most are sort of dull, with odd colors, textures, styles, and many with rather substantial price increases. Can't say I'm too excited about what's going to be in stores this summer. More hideousness from S/S 2010 from LV. In case you don't remember the $54,000 barfing garbage can backpack I posted earlier, here are the $1960 trashbags:

haha those trash bags are neat. price is a joke but if they were 60USD they would make stylish washingroom clothing bags. But for $1960 you shouldn't even enter a laundrymat. Big picture incoming!

I am feeling this bag from the Never Sleep shoot for spring. Reminds me of the bag The Brother's Bray (billykirk at UO ) one from fall.

Trussardi 1911 uploaded some of the new spring men's bags. Very flamboyant but very cool as well. Lots of cloth fabric instead of leather though which may be a ***** to clean. Lower price point, most are 500-700USD, which is a major plus.

Here are some pics of a bag I picked up in Poland. Nice looking tote bag. Honestly, it could go either way so I think it's fairly uni-sex. I usually carry a laptop, papers, or books in it. I need to fix the small dig in the front. Not sure what to use.

hope u like it rach2jlc

I have this exact same bag except in a darker perforated leather. I also have the Bill Amberg Johnnie Walker bag. I love Bill Amberg. He's my favorite bag designer. I'd say my favorite brands are: Bill Amberg AG Spaulding Goldpfeil* Fred Perry* Prada Loewe Tanner Krolle* Connolly* Mulberry* (The ones with "*" above are brands without reviews in this thread, I think--I might have missed a post.) I also like Delvaux from the pictures, but haven't been able to see their stuff in person, as it's really hard to find in the US. Another brand that I've been interested in is Want Les Essentiels. www.wantessentiels.com I don't know if they make bags, but I have a Smythson wallet that I love. Also, they're not for me, but I saw these bags on CoolHunting.com. http://www.pietbreinholm.dk/
