Anyone else like John Henry Athletic Fit shirts? Some come with a staight hem across the bottom and other have the more traditional curve. Here's an example:

Do striped/patterned shirts look weird if significantly altered?

No.. I'll post some in here over the next few weeks.

Has anyone heard of the shirtmaker O.H.H.A? They're the only <$50 shirt brand i've seen that offer sizes for my lanky tall frame (14.5-15 neck 34-35 sleeve).

Here's a link to an example

Just ordered and recieved TM LEWIN shirts. Im a hard fit, tall, slim with long arms. Ive tried just about every brand out there, even have MTM and to my surprise LEWIN shirts fit great. Quality to price ratio is excellent. Only thing that bugs me is limited selection of cuff and coller combos for the slim shirts, otherwise great.

My sentiments exactly. Great value and quality but limited variety.

Standard sized dress shirts - These sizes are a bit larger and looser which doesn't allow for much of a fitted look. Usually these shirts result in a sloppier and baggier look.

What brands would you recommend for a guy with these measurements?

    Neck 17.5-18

    Shoulders 40-43

    Waist 32-34

    ?

I thought I'd try the TM Lewin 15.5 slim fit. far too tight.

the H&C and C Tyrwhitt 15.5 slim fits fit beautifully but not the TM Lewin.

Has anyone tried the Harvie & Hudson slim fit?

I have four of them, 15.5, washed and ironed once so far. I don't think that I will have time to measure one of them for you this weekend, but should be able to do it on Monday or Tuesday.

Thanks, I have some of the standard fit 15.5 H&H and they are a tad on the large size so I assume the slim fit must be a nice/nicer fit

just received my three lewin shirts in the mail today.

really impressed with the quality at this price. the fit on the body is great. the shoulders are 2 inches too wide.

really disappointed with this, as now i have to return it.

Can you please post the size of the shirts you got and your measurments? also, if you could measure and post the shirts' measurements that would be great (eg., collar to shoulder seam - from "top", arm pit seam to button, middle waist seam to button, etc). thanks.

Just ordered an overstock Tailored Fit Hyde Park OCBD in 15.5 x 33 for $20 so thanks. Found this free shipping code that ends today which worked out better since you can't get 20% off of overstocks and shipping costs $7.95. Exp. 03/12/09 Promotion Code: ACTIVE PIN 00001682
