    Hello friends,

I am new here and glad to have found this forum. Besides clothing, one of my huge passions is the leather accessory - namely, the leather bag. Whether it if for the board room, court room, a hike, or trek out into the Souk in Marakesh, the man bag is something that is essential? What kinds of bags are popular here? Is it just the briefcase? Or does the leather daily carry (or perhaps canvas...hopefully no vinyl) transfer to other areas? I have a large collection of man bags. I also follow lots of fantastic makers who make a great bag and a very reasonable price... something rare in "handmade" these days. Looking forward to seeing what is out there in the world of bags. Cheers!

If only there was a thread on this topic. Perhaps it should be called 'briefcase porn' or something similar?

You have perhaps missed the sarcasm in his post: he was saying that there is already a thread called Briefcase Porn (or something like that) that is many pages long, covering what people use, information on makers, bespoke choices, etc.

Oh dear! Apologies. I am new here and so eager to post I didn't research first. Thank you for enlightening me.

It's fine to start new threads sometimes, guys. Not everything has to go into a megathread.

Of course it is, I just wanted to highlight that the OP might want to look through that thread to see what already exists and then perhaps he could start a thread to speak to a specific aspect, ask a particular question, challenge a particular viewpoint, etc.
