I wonder why these are almost never sighted? My tailor made me this. The collar is unfused and is very thinly interlined.

I have made a few of these. I think it is too wide as well.

More often i make the button down in a spread that is slightly wider then average.
a little more heightin the collar band and a touch more roll

that is fashonable without looking over the top

If you're comfortable with it, then wear it with pride. It doesn't look that unusual to me.
