I would buy polo bear on sweater or socks but that’s about it

Had dinner in Dupont Circle tonight and walked back to Farragut West. BB at Connecticut & M was all closed up and emptied. It was full (I think) just a few weeks ago. Store was closed but window displays were up and store was stocked, lights on. Lease sign up now. Bought my first real suits there. :-(

To close the loop on the RL Polo discussion, I remember a while back somebody here thrifted an RL Polo vintage SC that belonged to Joe Biden (seriously.

No Brioni (ahem...) for him!

Biden: As far as I recall, he's always been a natural shoulder
guy. For a man his age, who is paunch-free, he wears his clothes very
well.
I feel as if his stylist is really pushing the "one button undone" cuff **** on mtm suits....

Would appreciate your opinions on how the TF O’Connor suit should fit.

Here’s two pics:

First is Daniel Craig as Bond. The shoulder looks clean, but it seems as if it’s a bit too tight around the sleeve head and chest.

Second pic is from Mr. P. Same model as Bond’s suit. You can see it’s slightly looser.

Should it fit closer to Craig, or the Mr. P model?

It's noticeably a shorter jacket on Mr. Bond than the Mr. P model. I like the waist and arms better on Bond but that's about it.

Also, I thought Tom Ford was doing all of Daniel Craig's Bond suits?

Do you want to look like you’ve just left the gym, and had to stuff your bloated delts into a slightly too small suit, or do you want to look like your suit fits you well?

Yep, those are both Tom Ford suits.

The suit should wear closer to the bottom picture and not DC. The costume designer went a size too small for DC in Skyfall, Spectre, and will most likely be too tight in NTTD. Go watch QoS to see how the suits should fit.
