I have never seen Tagliatore in the US other than YOOX, do they make a lot private label?
I’m not sure how much they do, but I have seen a few private labels with it and maybe a couple of Yooxesque brands.

I could be entirely wrong about that label, but it struck me as familiar.

I don’t know if i could wear Husbands clothing as it’s not my style, but I love the cut and the looks they show on their Instagram.

Can you tell if it's full or half canvass?
Half, although the interlining runs longer than some other half canvas suits (but not long enough to make it a full canvas jacket).

I haven't torn the jacket apart but the canvas feels synthetic to me.

The jacket is half lined but the front of it is stitched up pretty well to prevent me from getting to the canvas without ripping a seam

The whole thing is pretty clearly machine made. I'm not in the clothing business, but a friend of mine who is suspects that it might be partially made in China and then stitched together in Italy to get a "made in Italy" designation. I'm not trying to slander the collection, I think that is probably pretty typical for a suit at this price point and to be honest I like the style of it. It would look good if I hadn't gained a bunch of weight.

here are some more pics. The most hilarious thing to me is the "handwritten note" from craft. I had forgotten about this until I open the box, it is just a cheap b&w printout. I'm kind of surprised they didn't at least spring for actual stationary

They were also kind enough to send an issue of the Rake along with it. Maybe that's where the stationary money went

I was interested in that suit as well, but it looks like it's sold out.

Does anybody have experience with Cifonelli's current RTW collection? How's the quality?

I don't know about quality, but I would assume the man is somewhat obsessive about things. Would think the bigger issue is aesthetics.

To my knowledge he has two model, one is more like his signature "le cigarettes" shoulder while the other one is for lack of better world "generic italian jacket with tight shoulder...".

I forgot the model name to know which is which (and I only have experience with the second one where Barneys carried in the later season in my size, might even have to size up, shoulder is that tight)

yea I thought the grey stripe flannel was a good one vs. the navy, I'm somewhat hesitant because the leg opening... (otherwise i do like the style on those AK suits)

I think it was Mabeuf and Monte Carlo? The Rake has a few models on sale, and I have a 10% coupon burning a hole on my credit card.

As for the AK collection, I didn't realize that synthetic canvasses were a thing. I thought all proper canvassing was horsehair or camel.

What is up with you and the leg opening? Do you have huge calves or something...
