The Christmas Tree Poast

    This marks my second Christmas as a father, and thus my second Christmas tree. Last year's tree was some manner o fir, which requited nothing but water, and barely shed any needles. This year, we opted for a Blue Spruce, which has already started shedding. Any tips for keeping it fresh?

    Keep the water flowing.

    Did you cut a slice off the base prior to putting it up?
    Is it in direct sunlight?

    Keep it watered, I water in the morning and in the evening. And get a Grand Fir next time, those suckers are the fullest and they smell the best too.
