I'd be happy to jump-in on a campaign for Sartoria Solito and would commit to a sports coat at the least. Am currently a regularly with Steed and Henry Poole and would love to get a Neopolitain tailor to visit on the regular. I think I could easily recruit another person who would commit to some purchase and who also speaks Italian.
Steed is stopping their Chicago visits, I believe.

Haven't heard that. Have a sports coat in progress and will be back in February. They're regularly so overbooked that it's hard to schedule new clients.

I’ve been using Steed in Chicago since 2016. Matthew messaged me not too long ago to say they were going to phase out Chicago, but will still make orders (sans fittings) for longstanding clients. Maybe they’ve had a change of heart, but that was my most recent communication…

Luigi speaks excellent English. Let me discuss with him the possibility of adding Chicago as a stop when he's in NYC.

Hi everyone!

I am pivoting a bit here...but is everyone possibly interested in Sartoria Pirozzi? I spoke with Domenico this past week, and he is very interested in adding a Chicago stop, in addition to his NYC stop. I can't get Luigi to respond to a text, and I probably won't see him or Luca for a while.

I can get some pricing info for everyone, but his prices are nearly identical to Solito or Orazio Luciano. For a first commission, he needs three fittings, but subsequent would only be one fitting. He travels to NYC four times per year, so I'd imagine Chicago would be the same.

One plus of Pirozzi is that they do incredible shirts at an incredibly reasonable price. Their outerwear is also second to none, to my eye.

I would really like to bring one of the Neapolitans to Chicago regularly, and I am certainly willing to put the leg work together to do so. Even though I'm not in Chicago, it is a much quicker drive for me than it is to travel back to Napoli, lol. So, if you (and any friends) are interested, please let me know! Domenico was very excited at the prospect of expanding to the midwest, it seemed. From what I can tell, it doesn't look like any of the southern Italian tailors visit too often, if at all?

I've included some pics of Domenico and Nunzio's below, for reference, but here is the SF thread for SP:

The pictures from the thread look better than the Permanent Style overview pictures. On PS the pants look too narrow for my taste but it seems they can do more moderate fits.

No shade to Simon, but I cannot tell the difference between any of the tailors he uses, really - it's like he orders the same suit from different makers. I wouldn't use the photos he takes when planning something I want to make for myself, really. I will say I can tell if his suits/jackets were made by an Italian or English tailor, generally. But check out his Solito and Pirozzi stuff, and tell me if there is ANY discernible difference between that and his Dalcuore commission...

I'm not from Chicago, but I am a big proponent of Sartoria Pirozzi. I first had the chance to work with them during a 2022 visit to Napoli. This was prior to their first U.S. trunk show. I still remember encouraging Nunzio, Domenico, Rita, and the lovely Pirozzi family to make the leap and do a trunk show in New York City. They were unsure if there would be any interest, but they have been quite successful. They actually come to New York City 5 times per year and as @leapyourbar stated could easily add another city.

Adding a Fox brothers worsted DB suit that Pirozzi made for me to the thread as another example of their work.

Does anyone know if Chris Despos is still taking on new clients? I know he's very active here but feel a bit rude cold sending a message to him on the forum
