i've found that a thigh around 12-13" works best for me and leg opening around 7.5", 7 in some cases (also larger calves).

the denim from namu shop has some nice offerings. the hatski denim has a much larger thigh and a solid taper based on the measurements the shop provided me.

i picked up a pair of the kaptain sunshine "east coast" denim, which has a similar vibe to the orslo 107s but not as slim. thigh comes in around 12.75 and leg opening is about a 7.5. i love the fit. i'm not sure if this is a recurring offering from KS as it's the first denim i've seen from them and currently only a 30 remains in stock, but i'm sure you could contact namu to see if they will be restocking at some point.

i'll post some pictures later today.

The new Uniqlo Regular Fit Tapered jeans are a STEAL. I purchased them in two colors intending to return one but am keeping both.

This is the light wash. For reference, I’m 6’2”, 185, with size 32x32 jeans.

My thighs are 28 inches and my calves are 18. My waist is around 39. I definitely have problems with OTR pants.

Picked up the uniqlo tapered as well, seems perfect for my build. Also will peep the universal works pleated trousers, seems to fit the bill nicely!

Some reason I'm still feeling the big leg openings so gonna pass on the Uniqlo tapered joints.

@tennessee

Those uniqlo's look very good.
Do you normally take a size 32?
Yes, although on these I think I may order an additional pair in size 31 then return one. The waist and knee areas are a touch roomy but still close enough. I just expect them to loosen up over time.. will report back when I get the 31.

These are described as tapered, but the leg opening is pretty regular in my opinion. 7.5" on a 32--seems pretty standard.

woudl you mind comparing the measurements to those on the uniqlo site? their measurements are often way off
They seem pretty accurate in this case but I will take a look tonight.

Ah yea, that is a good leg opening to have. Those would have been my perfect jawnz last year or so, but for some reason I'm digging 8-9" leg openings. I feel like it balances me out a bit and makes my hips look less bulky.
