What are the best wool socks you've found? I'd prefer them to be very thick (so they can be worn with boots) and USA made. Any recommendations?

Smartwool are awesome. Soft, maintain shape well and hold up for a long time.
So far beyond the old ragwool **** like fox river etc.

Those Muji socks are not bad, but they are made of light cotton. Great summer socks though. The ones I have were made in Japan.
Kapital makes the best socks for me.

For price/quality ratio, Smartwool and Goldtoe wool socks are the best.

Agreed. Having socks from both, DT's stuff is a lot more durable.

I carry some of the best socks around. Fox River Mills Wigwam and Two Feet Ahead all available online.

Assort colors and weights.

The Raggler Wool in Navy or Loden twill are my favorite
