1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Living in South FL it is practically always summer, so I have no problem wearing these J. Artolla Nathan Chukkas pretty much year round.

I recently had some raw denim marks on them but the Allen Edmonds Suede & Nubuck Cleaning System did a good job of getting them out. I used the AE Spray Waterproofer too, and it didn't really darken them. Once the spray is dry the color reverts back to almost original.

    +1 to Allen Edmonds products.

    One shoe completed.

I decided to wax the laces (1:1 gulf wax: beeswax) to match the slightly darker shade, and keeping with the newfound "waterproof" theme. I really like the added contrast with the darker laces.

Somewhat bad lighting, but the shoes are the same color.

There are a lot of nice looking navy low cuts in this thread, presumably A-OK for spring/summer. Is there a place for navy suede chukkas for S/S use?

Or are they neither fish nor fowl?
