I agree that shoulder is the single most important measurement because it's essentially un-fixable (I think of it like the keel of a ship- you really can't change it once the ship is built on it, or not in a way that doesn't reduce the integrity of the ship)

However, a .75 discrepancy, which is really down to ~.4" per shoulder, is probably within my tolerance for an OTR purchase, which is essentially what this is.

Or, put another way, unless you're fully MTM or bespoke, do you really think the average of your OTR purchases are any closer than .75 in the shoulder? Unless you match your brand's a fit model, I doubt it. Meaning this probably isn't any better or worse.

That said, by-hand measurements are iffy and this is subjective territory, proceed as appropriate for you.

Why is there almost never US sizes 46 & 48 available? That's what I wear and I don't consider myself a "big guy" 5'-11, 210 pounds. It's frustrating but it also saves me money![IMG]

i have a Valditaro sc, very very like it. the quality of mine is a bit higher than SARTORIA PARMA line IMO ( hand stitches on the outsider shoulder seam that i've never seen on SARTORIA PARMA line).

Can someone tell me whether the market for high end shoes is collapsing. What's up with these prices?
