There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

What scents and perfumes do you consider as especially apt to each season? I'd be looking forward to everyones suggestions!

Off the top of my head, as an example, I'd say:

Winter/Spring: Blenheim Bouquet. I like this very much, its my all-rounder.

Summer: Aqua di Parma, and also: Trumper's West Indian Extract of Limes.

Autunm: Knize 10. This is perfect for late fall/early winter, its deep woden/musky tones make one feel cozy [IMG].

    What are your favs?

    Halloween - Ungaro III

    Would you care to elaborate?

I see a basenote comment to the
effect that it smells like the inside of Dracula's coffin...

Mmm... there's nothing like the smell of an old man's colon, all year round.

I'll list more "categories" than specific scents...

Summer: classic eau de cologne, or a strong BITTER citrus (with grapefruit, bitter orange, etc.)
Fall: Sandalwood, amber, resinous scents that aren't "heavy" but still warm. If you have the cojones, this is when your civet scents work well (IMHO)
Winter: Spice and woods and depth... maybe vanilla/tonka/musk... heavier, thicker scents, orientals.
Spring: Male florals, rose, iris, lavender, jasmine.

If you like Kouros, try The Different Company Rose Poivree. It's also got the strong civet note that is in Kouros, but takes it in a very different direction.

Others you might like would be Guerlain Jicky or Mouchoir de Monsieur. They are very different from the Kouros, but I still think you'll like where they take that particular note.

That reminds me - I really ought to wear Kouros again someday. I still have the bottle in a drawer somewhere, and Kouros Fraicheur is boxed up...somewhere. ...ehm...this may be a sign that I've overdone the acquisitions.

As for a kinder, gentler Kouros, I'd recommend Tabac Original EdC. It is a tad old-mannish, though.
