1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Is it compulsory that the last winner organizes the next challenge? I ask that because I've no ideas for the next challenge nor time to come up with a good idea.
I'm sorry, but you (plural) can feel free to organize the next challenge or PM me with good ideas.

Edit: I just read an interesting article on the Die, Workwear! blog and what do you feel about a challenge incorporating hats? A "wear a hat without looking like a douche challenge".

^hat challenge would be awesome. I don't know how many members have decent hats, but I'd be interested to see the pictures.

I'd be willing to allow caps as well, summer and winter oriented, "anyone" could play. A bit excited now, I confess.

I have ball caps. Those don't go well with anything as they're not really something worth commenting about. Not my hats but ball caps in particular.

I think challenges should be aimed at making a contribution to the forum, which doesn't necessarily imply maximizing the number of entries. Hat challenge would be a good opportunity for forum contribution.

Spam bumped the most awkward Friday Challenge in recent memory. Spam will be removed, but the thread should stay bumped.
