I wonder how much GC is spending this year in the RR.

In all seriousness, I have never seen a Cleverley ad, and it wouldn't surprise me if they have never advertised in The Robb Report. But they may have good relationships with the people who write these kind of pieces (it's a fairly small world).

And in fairness, Cleverley was once great. When Dominic Casey (now on his own, check him out) made my shoes 11 years ago, he did a great job. They could well be great again if they hire good lastmakers and use (and qc) good outworkers. But right now...

Does Dominic Casey have IG page?

looks like pre COVID update

toe shape feels less chiseled than GC but everything else does. I’m kind intrigued by this design, should be a lot better in water proof term than back zip

Remote bespoke Winsons - just a bespoke last, regular ‘grandeur’ line workmanship. Haas Utah uppers - I’ll take some proper photos later. Love how the top looks wild with the trees in then straightens out with my foot.
Bespoke definitely isn’t a regular offering for Emil, at the moment it’s just something he’ll try for friends - he’s very open about having much to learn.

Nice job on those. The key question..how did the fit turn out?

fantastic. My feet aren’t too wild, but the pinky toe does get squeezed a little on the regular. That has been accommodated.
Arch is close cut and supportive, volume generally feels great - though there is a touch of excess material just behind the big toe joint.

Ill have to bring myself to wear these outside to make a complete judgement though!
