Ah, then it might have been William, he made lasts from time to time. Steve never usually hung around in getting his lasts made and it could’ve been anyone else if any of his leftover measures were distributed among the lastmakers, but as Shaggy would say it wasn’t me

Picked up a pair in Warsaw, from the great Tadeusz Januszkiewicz. Black, full brogue Oxfords. And placed another order for the same in a plum-colored crust leather that will be a deep mahogany after polishing. Many thanks to Damian Kot for his assistance! Also another pair coming from Aga Prus, a few minutes away by taxi.

I can think of a few things that are a little more satisfying.

Because obviously the average igent / SF-dweller is engaged in a forever war against out of control young women tearing the buttons off his Finamore shirt as they make their way to his Rota trousers and John Smedley drawers.

Unfortunately the awkward struggle to get out of his OTC Bresciani silk-cashmere socks kills the mood, every time.
