The question on everyone's mind: Which shoe making firm claims the likes of Jimmy Savile, Rolf Harris or Max Clifford as clients?

Do you think Mr Statham doesn’t wear his Lobb’s around Jr to not hurt his feelings?

He should. It was when Kirby ordered shoes from G&G that Glasgow Jr et al turned their backs on him... To have the nerve to enjoy something else than a pair of Cleverleys!

To quote Glasgow Sr when a Hong Kong customer who had purchased a similar amount of pairs was a bit unpleased with his latest shoes from them, which they just waived off as nagging, and the customer thought maybe they should listen to a client who bought 10 pairs from them: "Well, you haven't ordered 60 pairs, have you?"
(Note, story that I've heard from others, no first hand source)

My JLP experience was much better. I wasn't too happy with my first pair so they took them back and remade it. I have a 2nd pair on order and they want to do a fitting with the finished pair to make sure I'm happy with the results. Even though JLP has astronomical prices, at least they try to earn your business by not treating small time customers like **** or bragging about what celebrities buy their products.

That’s the thing, everyone have things coming out wrong every now and then, everyone makes mistakes sometimes, it’s how you handle these mistakes that really matters (and that you not intentionally put out things that you hope the client won’t understand is wrong..).

It may well be that GC despairs of clientele or potential clients on forums, but that exchange is fairly awful. Hopefully, they can respond and say something to address, explain, or respond in some capacity to the thread. I would also ask them for clarification about the authorship of those posts. The language (including style, typos, etc) does not convey any sense of professionalism.

This is 2020 so of course I immediately put eiffel tower into the urban dictionary. Basically a split roast with a high five.

saw that trunk show schedule and wondered how they're managing that with the travel restrictions. then realized junior lives in los angeles. then immediately imagined what it would be like if you found out you caught covid from george junior.
