An Adelaide in Blond Crust by Catella Shoemaker. It's an unfinished pair (waiting for patina and polishing), but I love the colour and the slightly raw look. They would be perfect summer shoes.

Have wanted a white pair like that for years, but almost impossible to find something of good quality in rtw. That is an amazing shoe.

The only bespoke maker in the US is charging around $6000 for a pair of shoes, so the flight is the least of the worries I'd say.
The flight cost is not my concern. I can't simply travel out of the country like that. There are complications with that, and one complication is my wife, but that's not the only problem.

Wife is easy, as I tell mine: "I am flying to XYZ country on Friday afternoon and I will be back Sunday, do you want to come too? [always no] Ok, what thing that XYZ country is known for do you want me to bring back?"

Doesn't fly here (pun intended), as somebody has to take care of the kids, too. That wouldn't go well to just disappear for that. I have for work, but that is different. That said, I also have other issues that prevent such travel on another level--won't get into details.

Bespoke denim nubuck alligator loafers from the up and coming maker Ichigo Ichie.
My feet have issues even with laceups and he nailed the fit and proportion with these.
I walked a lot around NYC (remember these @thesartorialistbanker ?)

The e-mail notification only gave me the text of your post, and I thought to myself what in the world could you wear that with though. These two pictures really set any concern of usability aside. A question: is there something about the material that it doesn't crease, or did you have him make the shoes touching the top of your feet all the way down to the toes?

It’s not a bond issue, but contractual issue
'Twas a joke.

Haha, I've been quite a colorful dresser, not dandy but pushing the envelope at times.
I've included a few more pics of how I wear these.

Long answer to your creasing concern is below.
Alligator skins tend to crease within between the scales aka existing natural creases. The nubuck finish helps hide the crease better. I also purposely "set the creases" prior to my first steps in them - this helps putting the creases on the vamp at exactly the same spot I want and minimizing other uncontrolled creases.
Regarding the fit, my feet are flat with wide joint, shallow toes, low instep, and minimal arch. We can add skinny heel to the topic to round off the challenge. Lee (Ichigo Ichie founder and bespoke shoemaker) cleverly balance the last base on my feet's challenges - slightly lengthen the last while adding ball width but maintaining the same thickness.
The toebox room has just enough for my toes to move and fold when I walk without hurting the ball joints. This also helps minimizing the vamp creases.

My Canons burgundy monk strap shoes with belt has arrived from DHL. No incoming duty. :). Looking forward to breaking them in.

Everything was well packaged to top off what has been an excellent experience with the Canons team.

I met Simon Bolzoni in Los Angeles in early spring. After trials with 2 pair of fitting shoes, the 3rd pair was made in welt. About a month ago I tried on the completed shoes and measurements were taken again on the belt. Almost 8 months start to finish with meetings in LA and London. Simon’s frequent visits to the US really helps move the process along.

Those are beautiful! Probably a tad bold (too red?) for my taste, but very elegantly shaped.
