Because obviously the average igent / SF-dweller is engaged in a forever war against out of control young women tearing the buttons off his Finamore shirt as they make their way to his Rota trousers and John Smedley drawers.

Unfortunately the awkward struggle to get out of his OTC Bresciani silk-cashmere socks kills the mood, every time.

I was talking about getting triple-digit likes on Instagram, but ok ....

Sure, I can understand that, but with such an extensive bespoke and MTO collection, you‘d think that fit issues alone would make one rotate the „cheaper“ shoes out. But of course OP may not have such a difficult foot to fit.

Like it or not, I think you've just inadvertently exposed yourself as the official "fit" comparison database guide dude.

I am down for a challenge.

Luckily I have pretty even feet. Just one foot is 3mm thicker than the other so bespoke is not really necessary. I just love the process and getting to know the makers. Building relationship with your favorite shoemakers is something special you won't understand until your first bespoke commission or you will get it if you have a relationship with your bespoke tailor. It's pretty similar, although I find shoemakers much more interesting people than most bespoke tailors I have met.

I don't discriminate brands on price. I have shoes that were pretty cheap that I wear a lot and I have shoes that were very expensive that I don't wear so much. I focus more on fit and the occasion.
