These costumes usually look better in the real film footage then they do in still shots. Anyone remember how bad the Xmen costumes looked in the leaked photos compared to the movie?

Magnetos helmet still looked horrible and I think that was the only part I really hated.

Actually, I think it was just Rambo who hated the XMen costumes from the get go.

Nevar! Hasn't been much to talk about.

I can't imagine they're going to do the Skrulls well. That story line requires a TON of setup. Are they gong to have the Kree as well? Can I be Ronan?

This movie will be tough to pull off. Hopefully its long like 3 hours.. I know a lot of people hate long movies.. but I for one will enjoy it if its good.

They can do it like the Ultimates version on how they "assemble." But instead of some miscellaneous aliens, it's the Skrulls, which doesn't need much background since it looks like they're just going to Lokis pawns. I don't think they need to get too deep into the Skrulls story unless Super Skrull will be involved.

And what are you talking about not much to talk about, have you not seen the arguments in the Batman thread? I could have sworn you'd go ballistic with Catwomans Oakleys with laser sights.

I have avoided the Batman thread. Looks awful. Will still kop.

So, what, are the Skrulls just going to show up out of nowhere? "Oh hey guys, look, aliens that can shapeshift into our heroes. Isn't that interesting?"

    Well...

Early plot reports were saying that Loki tricked/manipulated them to attacking earth, maybe to retreat the cosmic cube? Marvel could go with some miscellaneous aliens but they figure that with the Skrulls, it could lead to a sequel and it introduces them to the general public at the same time.

Again, it is all guesses at this point but it is plausible.

If it's aliens, it's going to be skrulls. Makes sense. High profile Marvel alien species and they did a huge event that had them in it around the time the script would have been written. It's skrulls.

Mind blown! They were planning on hiring Sam Jack as Master Chief. I guess this is how it all begins...

Nah they could'n't, for legal reasons, and since it seems they want the 'traditional' team.

Spiderman and Wolverine would be stupid. This is an Avengers movie and should feature a more classic version of the team. Hell, Spiderman has teamed up with the FF before does that mean he needs to be in the Fantastic Four reboot they are planning too? These things work best with the basic core teams.
