1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I don't get caught up with the Hulk's size. It's always changed depending on how he was written. In fact, these differences are part of his character.

Well the overall power levels of the JLA typically far eclipses the Avengers. Take the core JLA team with Superman, Wonderwoman, GL, Aquaman, Flash, Batman and Martian Manhunter and they would easily outclass the same core Avenger's team. It's not saying that JLA is better (even if I prefere them), just that the teams and universes are different.

Really? Aquaman? He is the Dane Cook of super heroes.

I will admit to the fact I've never read an Aquaman comic, but have seen some of JLA movies.

Don't judge him based on the old Superfriends cartoons. Guy's a powerhouse.

The pre-New 52 version of Aquaman actually "talk" to fish. The new version had his powers tweaked slightly. The Wiki article does a better job of explaining it then I could:

And yes, he never gets respect.

Sure, I know what you mean but I think that JLA has characters of varying power level and characters that don't exist much outside of the team, just like the Avengers.

I don't know. . . The Hulk is stronger than all, Iron Man could take WW, CA and Bat is a wash, Thor is a fucking God and could take Aquaman or GL in a second, Hawkeye and Black Widow (neither of whom are really core members anyway, it should actually be Ant/Giant man and the Wasp) could match up with the Martian, the real wildcard is the Flash. Depending on how he is written he is more powerful than just about any of them. Light speed movement and the ability to think and react at that speed makes him pretty much over powered to the nth degree.

And if they called in the Silver Surfer or Dr. Strange it would be on like Donkey Kong.
