I picked this up this weekend and couldn't be happier... Anyone else have an Art Deco Cocktail bar?

Amazing. And as an FYI, you should refrigerate vermouth after opening.

question: do you want criticism, or praise only?

Not looking for either. Just wanted to see who else has one. If you have either, go ahead and let it out...

Coutsclient that's pretty sexy.

I found a pretty cool cart used for bars on craigslist for $125 a while ago. I'm heartbroken I haven't found one like it since.

Yeah the shape is pretty seductive, huh? Sometimes when you see what looks like a bargain on CL you have to just go for it! Don't think...just buy buy buy!

I like the bar and the chairs. The only issue I have with collecting such furniture is that if it is only a 1 off then it is going to stand out in a negative way amongst your other things. My folks have antique stainglassed cupboard that unfortunately does not suit the remaining funiture or room.

An Art Deco bar would look great in a room that is fully decorated in that style. This thread and post has given me the idea to go have a look for pictures of rooms that have been completely redecorated in an Art Deco style.
