New styles are a way off yet, however, I will post them here when they do arrive. We have recently received our cordovan Uetam penny loafers, cordovan Detroit last Longwing and our Simpson calf tan Chelsea boots.

No plans to do another run of Chukka boots just yet!

I noticed that as well...bummer. Was thinking about a pair of those suede brogues but almost six bills shipped is hard to swallow. I purchased four pairs of Carmina shoes from them in the past and was supirsed to see the increase.

Ditto. Especially with all the new competition coming onto the B&M and online markets, it's a surprise.

I have been told about that a couple of moths ago by the Armoury ladies. Not surprised really.

I'm not really sure why you'd consider it a surprise. Quite a few people believe that Carmina offers a great value and, as a result, the demand for them has gone up significantly over the past few years. The increased price is a reflection of Carmina's own margins and business practices, not The Armoury's.

Price is driven by both supply and demand. The supply of Carmina's has been steadily increasing over the past while and so I wouldn't expect such an increase in price, especially when every other retailer is able to offer more competitive pricing in spite of Carmina's slight price increase. Don't get me wrong, The Armoury is completely within their right to adjust prices as they see fit, I was just a bit surprised to see it with the recent influx of Carmina retailers in many cases offering the exact same products. I've purchased two pairs from The Armoury and can vouch for their exceptional service, but more recently I've found myself exploring other options, partly because of the greater variety from places like Skoaktie, Unipair, etc., but partly now because of the better pricing.
