    My feet measure 9D on the Brannock and 9D fits me very well in the AE # 5 last, as well as Alden Plaza last. As with most everyone, I size down to a comfortable 8.5D for the Barrie.


    Full value declared for Customs?

    1 full size and no pinching at all on your toes?

    Yep, the only time I had to pay anything sent into the USA was for some paintings I bought at Sothebys, that was shipped by FedEx and were about 10x as much as the shoes. Never anything declared even at 1k.

    ZERO pinching on my toes, if anything just a bit tight at the arch for the first day, second time wearing, fits better than any other shoe I have ever owned.

    don't know, don't care, really - as long as it continues. :)

    edit - i don't mean carmina in general, I just mean i never had to pay any when I ordered them.

    My Barrie and Carmina Robert and Rain lasts are in the same size, UD7.5D and Carmina 7.5

    anyone know how long carmina mto takes? and is there a significant upcharge?

    I was recently told the upcharge is 50%. As for timing, I understand it can be several months for MTO.

    I was set to buy until my HVAC unit in my condo went out...could buy lots of shoes for $4K!
