1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

The Armory just got a mention on one of GQ's 10 Essentials list, from Christopher Bastin. I assume it has already been mentioned in this thread, but congrats!

That's great. They deserve it. I hope they become an example followed by many. Of course, Mark and Alan are so smart and have such great taste, that no one will be able to duplicate the store exactly and with their constant innovation, no one will be able to keep up. But such attempts will raise standards in many places. At least I hope so.

Edit: I love how they showed Peter Lee, Manton's book, Patrick Chu at Chan, and the workrooms of Chan. I believe the older guy, the only one with white hair, was the one who made my first Chan coat.

Thanks for posting the link, E.

thanks, M. wifey went there a few weeks back and met alan, and she's at awe with how wonderful the store looks, even bought me a snazzy drakes tie. I'm gonna pay myself a visit there in a couple of weeks.

If you order from the Carmina directly, there is a 30% surcharge for MTO.
    Don't know about Armoury's pricing.

I was quoted a 25% surcharge for MTO Carmina shoes from The Armoury, a few months ago.
