If you could only keep one, which would it be?
Wow. Tough question

I think the balloon cloth.

The light blue hopsack is too summer oriented. The cashmere and doeskin both lean too winter. And while the sportex is awesome, it’s not well suited for the hottest days.

The balloon cloth is the sweet spot in the middle. I’ve worn it on cooler days with flannels and on pretty warm days with frescos (or similar) and it’s performed pretty well.

I'm interested in a Model 15 suit and I fit in size 50 Model 3. It looks like the Models 15 is over an entire inch larger in the shoulder than what I measured my Models 3 sport coat to be (18.7ish vs 19.9). I assume there's some structure in the shoulder there?

There also looks to be about 2-3 more inches in the chest as well. Anyone have both the Model 3 and the Model 15 to compare?

Uhhhhhhh honestly, as I think on it, I didn't find the chest discernibly different. Shoulders the 15 is notably wider, but doesn't "wear" wider to me. I prefer it to the 3.

I’m with @ericgereghty they feel pretty much the same at the end of the day… shoulders just slightly more extended on the 15… I like them both

Chest feels similar, shoulders are definitely wider (more extended) than Model 3.

Fwiw I wear size 50 in Model 3, but MTO'd size 48 in Model 15 with a bit more length in the body. That said, I'm pretty sure I can fit into size 48 in Model 3 too.

Thanks all! I'll order the same size and see how it works out. The measurements just came as a shock for their respective jacket sizes
