1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I like the indirect use of skylights to light the gallery.

It seems like Renzo's pretty much finished creating notable architecture. I think from here on out it's just gonna be more of this boring, inoffensive (if serviceable) architecture. I have a feeling he doesn't get terribly involved on a design level, even though his office takes so many damn projects. I wish he'd trim it down and give us a lower number of more refined or interesting projects, but whatever, he gets things built. The landscaping on this thing might be the least inspiring thing I've ever seen of his though.

Gorgeous building. I like that they put some real effort into the details, such as the reveal under the gallery walls and the flooring layout.

I don't care for the daylight exterior shots as much - but that may be the photos. I like the exterior evening and interior quite a bit.

I think the reveal under the walls is because they're movable partitions.

Took a couple minutes to find the name, but its a Flávio Borsato e Maurício Lamosa - Allegro, no clue about price, but I would guess about a 1000-2000$ a piece.

Thank God I don't have widgets made in China. That airport would give me a headache.

Hayward, which would you rather have? Terminal 3 at SFO or Shenzen?

Hey, at least Terminal 3 ain't Heathrow. SFO will always have issues due to its minuscule footprint.

T2 demonstrates that size is not the issue. United needs to kick down some cash and renovate that mofo.

Ah China, once again distracting idiots, with shiny buildings, from the fact that they are a 3rd world country 50 years behind the Western world.

Yes, how uppity of them, when they really should be just building the grass coolie huts they belong in.
