Kinda surprised not to see @RSS swooping in here. Perhaps he's fixing to snipe? ;)

Ooh! $1500.
Big baller, shot caller. I want to email me at styleforum do not at gmail.com with the subject line: Charity Auction 11: Kirby Allison Ancient Madder Robe, and we'll get you situated.

For everyone else, I will be checking on payments and/pr getting back to you today. We will have at least one or two more auctions, including the second No Man Walks Alone Auction (thanks to the most gracious @gdl203 ) in the new year!

Cheers,

Fok.

RSS already owns one, obviously.
I wasn't familiar with this thread until just now. But guys, we are both retired. Once that happened, there went a big chunk of the discretionary income. Besides, at 71yo, I already have most everything I need. Moreover, at this point in life I'm divesting, not acquiring.

I might add that my style is a bit more casual than it once was ... especially now that we are out of the city and in the country. I'm up at 4:30 AM feeding the pups (my beagle might as well have been playing a trumpet). And because it's a holiday, I'll be feeding the Nubian goats this morning. I'm wearing sweatpants and a college sweatshirt. I'll slip on a Barbour when I head out to the barn. We've been snowed in since Boxing Day and it's nippy.

When it comes to charity, my partner and I just gave our college the funds needed for a "bespoke" harpsichord. Hey, ya can't take it with you at the end. But as it's not yet the end, it will be even tighter for a while when it comes to money. Heck, even my Christmas present had a chip in it. ;)

All that said, life is grand. I wouldn't change a thing. I have wonderful friends and an even more wonderful partner and family. And I can't imagine living in a more beautiful setting.

Happy 2022 fellows!

You're not handsome enough for RSS
That is just rude. To imply that @RSS only cared about Adonis like beauty and not my massive enowment and staggering intellect is an insult not only to him, but to yourself for small mindedness

You're applying to be a house boy, which should be seen and not heard, so the intellect likely doesn't factor in, and I assume @RSS isn't planning on cheating on his long-term partner, so you're just eye candy which would negate the importance of the claim.

I shouldn't talk for him though, but I hate to see you wasting his precious time with spurious applications.

This is all true, but @RSS posted the position when he asked Santa for one ;)

I enjoy that you misspelled "endowment" right before touting your intellect.
