Excited to participate. So all the bidding is through posts in this thread?

Hey Fok. Thanks for this. My brother was just diagnosed with ALS a few months ago and the ALS Foundation has been clutch.
Crazy disease that just upended our whole family. Thanks again to you and to everyone that bids!

Really sorry to hear, NorCal. That's awful news and my thoughts are with your family.

Thanks for this, Fok. A very good friend's father succumbed to ALS many years ago, so this charity auction is particularly significant to me personally. Bid it up guys, this is for a great cause.

To sweeten the deal I'll throw in a knitted cashmere gloves in the color of your choice.

Oh and by the way the cardigan, along with the gloves, are made in Hawick Scotland - NOT Spain (@Fok you may want to fix that)!

Thank you for sharing your story, Ben and everyone else on this thread. We'll be sharing bits of information from the ALS association in the coming posts so everyone can read about amyotrophic lateral sclerosis and the resources available to those affected by it.

(I fixed the copy on the auction post, thank you for catching that).

Bid away guys!

So glad the auctions returned! I really missed it last year but it was totally understandable why it wasn't held.

I'd bid on the cardigan but I won one from EHaberdasher in the auctions in '18 or '19. For those considering bidding on this, do so now! Mine has held up very well to frequent wear over the years and feels even softer now than when it first arrived. It looks just like new now too with no pilling to speak of. These are awesome sweaters and worth every penny that you bid!
