Winner! The next auction, in which a patchwork sashiko chore jacket specially embellished by @Epaulet will go to the first two winning bidders. The first place winner will get to choose their color first!

Since it's Friday night and I have actual obligations, that auction will start tomorrow and end on Sunday evening!

Cheers,

Fok.

Auction 6: Sashiko Patchwork Doyle jackets from Epaulet

Starts immediately, ends 5:00 p.m. PST, Monday, Dec 10., or 10 minutes after the latest bid, whichever comes later.

According to our friend and Styleforum contributor @SprezzaTrash, a chore coat is as versatile as a blue blazer, as you can pair it quite easily with casual shirts and trousers while adding a bit of character to the outfit. While that might be overstating the case a bit, they do look good, and here, two customized, patchwork, sashiko cloth versions are being auctioned for a great cause.

Epaulet just released this version of the french chore jacket made in Los Angeles using Japanese woven sashiko fabric. The cloth is dipped in reactive pigment dye to take on either a deep blue or a burnt sienna color.

Mike and Adele, the owners and proprietors of Epaulet, have donate two sashiko jackets for our Charity Auctions. Each of these special pieces will be customized for the top two bidders.

As for all these auctions, 100% of the proceeds go to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Spokane (https://rmhcinlandnw.org/), an organization that helps house and feed the families of children who have to travel for medical care. It's an incredibly stressful and emotionally draining time for families, and financial issues associated with loss of time at work, only compound those stresses. The Ronald McDonald Houses do their best to alleviate that stress by providing food and shelter and a home away from home for these families. I know that during the holidays, there are many worthy charities to support, and we really appreciate your taking part in these charity auctions.

In this auction, we will be auctioning two jackets simultaneously. Each of the top two bidders will get a jacket.
The retail price is $285, and bidding starts at just over 1/2 of the retail, or $150 (USD). The bidding will go by increments of $25 or greater.

Top two (2) winning bidders please contact [email protected]

Please bid generously to help the Ronald McDonald House.

Cheers,

Fok.

Congratulations on your wins, @beardsf and @Shoonoob and thanks for the generous bids.

If you please email me at styleforum.net @ gmail.com I'll get you further instructions. Please note that it may be tomorrow before I get to you, but I will.

The next auction up is from @Bob iTailor . As some of you might know, iTailor (www.itailor.com) is one of the most prolific MTM outfits on the internet. I believe that the @StyleforumRobot is posting this auction, but I may need to turn it on and off to get it working.

Cheers,

Fok.

Would it be possible to switch out the shirt for an extra pair of pants instead?
