Steed in Harris tweed after about five years of hard wear…love this jacket:

Jacket looks great! I do feel that Steed jackets (and most tailors) look better in heavier cloths. But I more so feel like Steed jackets really improve with age. Far from scientific, but there is this sense of "settling" that really flatters teh drape cut. Most of my jackets predictably look better with wear but Steed in particular seems to droop and drape over time in the most charming way.

Is there a dress code at the Greenbriar? Or do do just maintain a personal
standard? If so, Bravo!
The casino requires jackets after 6, a lot of the restaurants have dress codes as well but generally the requirements are pretty lax. I try to imagine I’m there, I might as well look good while I am

How do you like the summer tweed as pants? Is it too rough or itchy, or is it fine?
It’s a little rough but not enough to dissuade me from wearing them. Not particularly itchy but a hardy enough fabric that I don’t think it’ll fall apart (for being too fine)

I wore a t shirt and running shorts. But that’s because I’m snowed into my ******* house. I assure you, tweed and flannel isn’t worth it.
Are you in MN/ WI? For some reason I had that in mind. As a soon to be resident of Rochester, I am spending the next 8 months convincing myself that cross country skiing and making lots of heavy fabrics for myself and clients will make up for not being able to golf almost every month of the year...

Minneapolis. The lack of golf in winter is awful, boating in the summer makes up for some of it. Here's the mostly inactive MN thread but there are a handful of us on here. https://www.styleforum.net/threads/...una-the-entirely-unofficial-mn-thread.699443/
